privacy policy

Ascend Soul is built as a private ritual app. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is stored, and which services are involved.

Information you create in the app

Ascend Soul may store app progress and personal app content on your device, including your chosen name, archetype result, onboarding answers, quest progress, milestones, journal entries, notification preferences, and other local progress used to run the app experience.

Journal entries

Journal entries are personal content you type into the app. In V1, journal entries are stored locally on your device. Ascend Soul does not provide account sync or backend cloud storage for journal entries.

Onboarding and progress

The app uses onboarding answers, archetype results, quests, streaks, milestones, and progress data to personalize the experience and preserve your state inside the app. In V1, this information is stored locally on your device.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Ascend Soul may schedule local notifications such as daily whispers. Notification permission is handled by iOS. You can change notification access in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and purchases

Ascend Soul uses Apple and RevenueCat to process subscriptions, restore purchases, and check premium entitlement status. Apple handles payment information. RevenueCat may process purchase history, anonymous app user identifiers, product identifiers, receipt or subscription status, and related subscription data needed to validate purchases, restore purchases, provide premium access, prevent fraud, and support subscription analytics. Ascend Soul does not receive your full payment card details.

Accounts and sync

Ascend Soul V1 does not include a user account system and does not include backend sync for your app content.

Analytics and tracking

Ascend Soul V1 does not intentionally include third-party analytics or advertising tracking. If analytics are added in a future version, this policy should be updated before release.

Support emails

If you contact support, the email address and information you choose to send may be used to respond to your request.

Data control

Because V1 app content is stored locally, deleting the app may delete local app data from your device. Apple subscription status is managed through your Apple Account and is not cancelled by deleting local app data.
